monday monday!!

GoodMorning/Afternoon Family!
Well changes this week, but I dont think ill be being changed! they will be held in Cardenas (the gringo area) tomorrow at 3:00 in the afternoon. I will end up spending a long time here in Tocumen, but I am okay with that, because it is a great ward, and I am progressing a lot as an individual! I enjoy the mission!
We traveled to Darien this past weekend, a remarkable experience. Our investigator that was to be baptized, ended up not entering the water. He came and talked to us prior, and discussed some things he needed to take care of before his baptism. I was very proud of him for what he did. To be Bold and desire to be truly pure before baptism. We expressed our love for him, and that we are here for him, and to help him along the way! He will be working towards Baptism little by little, Keep him in your Prayers! Irving - 20 yrs old - Torti, Panama.
As for the Zone and everything else, its getting excting, with Changes we will be starting new and getting after it. Elder Wade will be staying with me and will be Ending his mission with me, a Third one in this area :) but we are very excited, last night we addressed our strengths and weakness so that we can figure out the best way we can work together to help these people prepare to accept the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
I Love where we are at and what we are doing! I Love my Mission, and am sad it is coming closer to a close - just means ive got to leave it all out on the field right??
if this were football, it would be 8 min to go in the 4th quarter, and I gotta keep workin to get it done! haha :)
Well I Love you all, and love hearin about you all! Keep it up in all you are doing! Its gettin closer to the return date, and I miss you guys! Here is a qute I enjoyed! "The most important thing we can do, young or old, is develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. If we do, we will always be comfortable with ourselves. Any questions of self esteem and self worth will diminish and we will have a quiet confidence that will see us through any trial."
Love you all, have a great week!

conference was remarkable!

Morning Family!!
Conference was remakable!! :) I will attach my letter to president to show and express my feelings in regaurds to conference! :) I want you to know I love you all, I pray and hope for the best for each of you! We potentially could be having more missionaries in the family now!
New Area . Vientecuatro de Diciember (24 de Diciembre) or 24th of December in english! It is located in Tocumen on the outskirts of Panamà City! The Lord has also entrusted me with the opportunity to serve as a Zone Leader. I pray I may have the Lords help as I embark about in my new assignment. :) My Campanion is Elder Vallecillo from Hunduras, he will be headed home in November (end of this change), and he is a Champion. I pray I may learn as much as possible from him before he has the grand opportunity of Meeting his family again :) I am thrilled at all the changes taking place, and all that is going on, an excitment in the air!
I pray conference impacted your hearts :) and that we may continue to recover the material shared this weekend, in the next upcoming months! The Youth of this Church are going to be incredible, I feel honored to have three sisters that will be invovled in this :)
I also want you to all know I know Life is very real, but I know through the Savior, things can be made right, and happiness can be found :) Conference gave me a fire, to go and play even harder in life. I pray for all of you at home in Utah, to continue to Know, Live, and Love the Gospel as was stated by the new Young Womens President!
Some of my favorites?? I loved the talks given by Elder Holland and President Monson in the Sunday morning session. Just blew me away!
I love you all! :) I really do :) You will be in my prayers :) Including you mom, each and every one, I miss you :)
Take care, I invite us all to Act, leave the past behind, and Act today :)
With full love in my heart,

to climb on top.

Goodmorning!!
Well to make note on the work. Together with Elder Tzep (native from guatemala) we are heading into quite a battle! The work is going to be tough but it will be quite rewarding if we can climb ontop! PLease keep me in your prayers and in your hearts! AS you are all always in mine :)
Really the mission is changing my life, the situations placed before me, and what it takes to climb ontop :) To do the will of the Lord is everything! :)
Love you all! More than you can all imagine!!
We will be learning as we go, but praying even harder to recieve guidance and strength here. The Ward is not the strongest, but we understand that and we have begun to work with the bishop, and Hno. Estrada to do all we can to strengthen and help rescue the ward. Like today, for p-day we are going out with the bishop, to get to know more the Area and all we can do to strengthen it here. Along with that we are striving to obtain the new standard of 5 new fechas and 5 in sacrament meeting. Working our hardest for the people here and how we can help bring the gospel of Jesus Christ into their lives. Elder Tzep is a champ. Love the Mission. take care-

How is everyone doing?? repoting from Panamà this morning! As for the mission we are doing good, seeking and looking for improvement, but that comes little by little. Keep me in your prayers as I continue in this great work!
Well this past week, we have spent a bunch of time with our Ward Mission Leader, who was set apart last night as a Missionary. He will be headed to Dominican Republiuc for the MTC, then to Puerto Rico to serve. He is a stud. Someone I have learned alot from. some very important things, and it came from his actions. Someone I know will be a great Missionary. A 21 year old Engineering student who has put his life on hold to be a Servant of the Lord. I love it. The Mission is incrdible!
As for me, I am doing good. Fingers still in recovery, but don´t worry. Middle finger free and in the air, healing well. Index finger still sleeved and recovering, but doing good :) Patient needing process, but doing great! Doctor today :) hope for stiches out soon! .so there is the update!
Well I love you all. I have been putting a lot of effort in to grow spiritually lately. and have been loving it! When I read and study, its about applying it directly into my life today. Putting the advice or principle learned directly to work. Its Very powerful. and I love it!

healing process

Hey!
Yes No Infection, that is my highest goal right now. I will do what is necessary to prevent infection. And I will follow doctors orders. as for therapy, I am not sure, I have not heard a thing, so I assume it is not something they do here. but I am not worried because I have a lot of movement, so ill continue to progress there. I am doing good, just will be a healing process, Thanks for all your love and support :) We will keep takin care of it!
Trek. Sounds great, oh the memories, and testimonies formed. I am so grateful for them. Tell the girls to write about it if they can. You are all so blessed to have things like that so close to home. Well I am glad they enjoyed, I pray they can continue to grow as young women. I pray my sisters are happy! :) let them all know I love them!
well, things are going great here. really this past weekend we had a successful ward activity. Unity formed, Investigators befriended, and testimonies grown. I enjoyed it! Also We spoke in Sacrament meeting yesterday. That was a upifting experience :) Always love that opportunity! I Shared about the Love for one another, and If we have it the Lord will strengthen us with the rest. Testimonies shared. - Also kinda sad,our ward mission leader will be leaving for his mission this next week. so this is our last week to work with him. He is a stud. I am grateful for his example!
We are here for a reason. and we ill continue to work hard. We are working on Lifting this ward. and we are on an uphill climb :) I am grateful for the gospel. I love you all. The Olympics Started! woot woot!

story time:

I was cutting Palms off a Palm tree during a service activity, and I would bend a palm with my left hand and cut the palm where it roots from the core of the palm tree, with the machete that I held in my right hand. Well as I had made way about half way around the palm tree, preparing to cut the next palm off, with my left hand bending the next palm down, I had disturbed a habitat of bees.
I stepped back to seperate from the situation and to rid the bees from my body. As I brushed them away from my arms, I unfortunately caught the tip of the blade with my index and middle finger. And that is where the cut was formed.
I ran over towards the Bishop where I was quickly helped. My hand was then washed, then we headed to the Hospital. Hospital Chriqui. Kind of a different experience there, a little frightening, never having had an accident in the past before. But I put my trust in the Lord, and just being fingers, knew everything would be okay.

So details: and to answer questions.

Yes I had cut through the tendon on my index finger, but not affected the deeper tendons below (fortunately) but yes it was to the bone. and on the middle finger, no tendons cut and not to the bone. The Hospital was very neat and clean, and yes a professional Doctor. (I was in good hands - expensive Hospital) Doctor Tortosa, Orthopedic Surgion, performed the operation for me. Very nice man, who speaks english and spanish. I was knocked out for the Surgery and woke up later with Blue wrapps on my fingers. All had gone well. I spent the night at the hospital, and was reviewed and released by the Doctor in the morning.
With a Miracle story, we arrived at the Baptism held at 12:00 at thew end of church in the Chapel of Lassonde. I was put in right there for Photos. It was a special experience to be a witness for these two baptisms. To watch these two young individuals arrise out of the water, was incredible. The Spirit testified to me of the great work we are participating in.  :)
From there all is well. President and Hna. Ward are helping me out and making sure everything goes okay with the recovery. Don`t worry about me, just my two fingers, I`ll be fine!! :) As for that, any questions? :)
Well I am glad everyone is doing great. I went back and finished chopping my tree after it had been sprayed. haha! Im not going to let this experience affect me or slow me down in this great work.
Tell everyone hi, and I am doing great!
Love you all, take care

new area!

Goodmorning!
Well, I have arrived in my new area. Lassonde. It is Located in Panama, providence of Chiriqui, city of David. It is a ways out from the city. A Seven hour bus ride is the journey we took to make it out here, A little bit relaxing. From there an arrival at 11:00 at night, I was taken to my area by my new comp. Elder Cruz. He is from El Salvador, He is new in the mission with one change, so I will continue to Train him. so the Training doesn´t stop! haha but as for the area, its very nice, I did not know how much I missed nature, Located here are trees and yards, and just open fields, and what not. Its a nice feeling to walk on the streets from day to day. Reminds me more of home :) As for the ward, we can help here in Lassonde, and I pray that the Lord may help us do that. and I know he will.
Being out here in the ¨intirior¨ is a different feeling. The people are very nice. and just seem to be more relaxed, and happy. I pray I may enjoy my time here, weither it be short or long. and that the Lords work can go Forth.
My comp is young, he is tight. He was a preivous gangster. has a huge scar on his wrist and up his arm from a knife wound. and he has a bullet wound on the back of his neck. He feels God has given him a second chance, the ability to live, and it has given part of the testimony he has to him. He is a champ. I hope I can be a champ to him, a brother and a friend, always.

Well Thatll do for today, time is running out. I love you All. Year mark this week! and we will have the opportunity to listen to a Seventy speak this week. fun fun.
Mission Panamá awesome. take care.
